Northern White Cedar is a renewable resource harvested mostly from Northern Michigan, and is the surplus from the log home industry. The logs are dried, monitored, and processed in our factory in Edmore, MI.
Our Low Post Beds in the Natural option give you the pale beauty of Northern White Cedar in it’s purest state of charm. Ships partially assembled.
Many, or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty.
