The difference between the standard and deluxe is proportions. The deluxe gives you more room in the seat and a deeper recline angle — the kind of chair you sink into rather than perch on. On a smooth cedar surface, comfortable for the full afternoon without cushions. The natural rot resistance of Northern White Cedar means it handles outdoor seasons without any help from you — ten to twenty years of regular use without treatment is typical.
