The set works because the pieces work together: the settee and rocker give you a mix of seating styles — two people side by side on the settee, one person rocking solo — and the arm chair pulls into the circle wherever the porch layout calls for it. The round coffee table in the center keeps drinks, books, and everything else off the floor. It's the full porch sitting area, not just a collection of unrelated chairs.

Northern White Cedar is naturally rot and insect resistant — no paint, no sealant, no annual maintenance. Left natural it weathers to soft silver-grey over time. All four pieces ship partially assembled with hardware and instructions included.

Natural or color finishes

It can be finished with a quality penetrating oil finish, or left alone to weather to a silvery gray color. Many or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty. Since Cedar wood is naturally rot and insect resistant, you will be able to enjoy this product for many years.
