Great Lakes Timber Lodge Log Bed — hand-hewn Northern White Cedar with mortise and tenon joinery throughout. Available in Twin, Full, Queen, and King. Four finish options: Unfinished, Clear, Grizzly, and Panda. SKU varies by size and finish.
Northern White Cedar is hand-hewn — each log shaped with a chisel to create the characteristic faceted surface texture, then sanded smooth at the edges. Mortise and tenon joinery connects the logs throughout the headboard, footboard, and side rails — a traditional timber technique that locks the frame together without relying on hardware alone. The lodge-style headboard rises with full log post construction, giving the bedroom the visual weight of a piece that was built rather than assembled. Grizzly is a proprietary dark brown stain; Panda pairs Grizzly on the frame with Clear on the interior details.
