Northern White Cedar is hand-hewn — each log shaped with a chisel to create the characteristic faceted surface texture, then sanded smooth at the edges. Mortise and tenon joinery connects the logs throughout the frame. The drawer takes the small items you reach for from the sofa; the shelf below takes everything else — books, a basket, whatever lands at arm's reach. The cedar log legs and rails carry the same hand-hewn texture as the rest of the Great Lakes Timber collection, keeping the end table visually consistent with the coffee and sofa tables. Grizzly is a proprietary dark brown stain; Panda pairs Grizzly on the frame with Clear on the drawer front.
