Northern White Cedar is hand-hewn — each log shaped with a chisel to create the characteristic faceted surface texture, then sanded smooth at the edges. Mortise and tenon joinery connects the logs throughout the frame — a traditional timber technique that locks the piece together without relying on hardware alone. Five drawers give this chest enough capacity to anchor a bedroom on its own — no secondary dresser required. The cedar log corner posts and rails carry the collection's characteristic hand-hewn texture throughout. Grizzly is a proprietary dark brown stain; Panda pairs Grizzly on the frame with Clear on the drawer fronts.
