Great Lakes Timber Log Bed — hand-hewn Northern White Cedar with mortise and tenon joinery throughout. Available in Twin, Full, Queen, and King. Four finish options: Unfinished, Clear, Grizzly, and Panda. SKU varies by size and finish.
Northern White Cedar is hand-hewn — each log shaped with a chisel to create the characteristic faceted surface texture, then sanded smooth at the edges. Mortise and tenon joinery connects the logs throughout the headboard, footboard, and side rails — a traditional timber technique that locks the frame together without relying on hardware alone. The log bed frame gives the bedroom the foundational look of the Great Lakes Timber collection — natural cedar post construction, built to last and to be seen. Grizzly is a proprietary dark brown stain; Panda pairs Grizzly on the frame with Clear on the details.
