Great Lakes Timber Log Daybed — hand-hewn Northern White Cedar with mortise and tenon joinery. Twin size. Four finish options: Unfinished, Clear, Grizzly, and Panda. SKU: 446-HH (varies by finish).
Northern White Cedar is hand-hewn — each log shaped with a chisel to create the characteristic faceted surface texture, then sanded smooth at the edges. Mortise and tenon joinery connects the logs throughout the frame — a traditional timber technique that locks the structure together without relying on hardware alone. The daybed configuration keeps three sides enclosed: a headboard-style back rail and two shorter side rails that give it the proportions of a sofa or lounge by day and support a twin mattress overnight. Grizzly is a proprietary dark brown stain; Panda pairs Grizzly on the frame with Clear on the rails.
