Great Lakes Timber Panel Log Bed — hand-hewn Northern White Cedar with mortise and tenon joinery and a panel-style headboard and footboard. Available in Twin, Full, Queen, and King. Four finish options: Unfinished, Clear, Grizzly, and Panda. SKU varies by size and finish.
Northern White Cedar is hand-hewn — each log shaped with a chisel to create the characteristic faceted surface texture, then sanded smooth at the edges. Mortise and tenon joinery connects the logs throughout the frame — a traditional timber technique that locks the pieces together without relying on hardware alone. The panel headboard and footboard bring a slightly more streamlined look than a full log post design — still clearly a cedar log bed, but with a profile that works in a bedroom that doesn't want to go full lodge. Grizzly is a proprietary dark brown stain; Panda pairs Grizzly on the frame with Clear on the panel.
