The table adds convenience for placing drinks, or your favorite book. Made of durable Northern White Cedar, the wood is naturally rot and insect resistant.
Don’t be fooled by cheap imported imitations made from Chinese Fir. Chinese Fir is not resistant to rot and infestation, and they must be fumigated before even entering our country. Even with that, there is no guarantee that bugs and eggs have been destroyed. Do we really want to introduce this threat to our environment? Chinese Fir is also inferior in its strength and durability. On average, furniture made from Chinese Fir will last between 1-3 years. A piece of log furniture made from Northern White Cedar can last 10-20 years.
