Circle sawn pine is milled with a circular blade that leaves parallel saw marks across the face of each board — the same surface texture you'd find on planks pulled from an old barn wall. Hickory log spindles run through the head and foot panels of both bunk tiers — natural hickory with the bark removed, bringing a second wood species into the piece alongside the pine frame. The construction is solid: bunk beds take more abuse than any other piece in the house, and the combination of heavy pine framing and hickory spindles is built to handle it. Includes integrated ladder. Natural Clear, Honey Amber, and American Chestnut are standard finishes; Weathered Gray and Antique Barnwood are premium.
