The frame uses mortise and tenon joinery reinforced with hardware — the same construction Lakeland Mills has used since 1923.
Northern White Cedar is naturally rot-resistant and insect-resistant, requiring no finish or treatment to perform outdoors. This table can stay outside through all four seasons without degrading. Over time, untreated cedar weathers to a silver-grey that many owners prefer to the original tone.
Works as a standalone piece or pairs well with cedar log benches and chairs from the Contoured Comfort collection. All hardware is included. Apply a penetrating oil or outdoor sealant every few years if you prefer to maintain the warm original cedar color — it's optional, not required.

Northern White Cedar is naturally rot-resistant, insect-resistant, and dimensionally stable, making it one of the few domestic woods that can spend its entire life outside without chemical treatment or annual maintenance. A Note on Log Checking
Because this table is made from real logs, it may develop small surface cracks as the wood acclimates to changes in temperature and humidity. Log checking is completely normal in solid log furniture — not a defect — and does not affect structural integrity or longevity. Cedar Log Contoured Comfort products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty covers structural failures and defects present at time of manufacture.
