Six feet of log bench seats three adults comfortably — or four if the occasion calls for it. While a standard bench handles two, this handles a group. It's the bench for long dining tables, extended porch railings, and fire pit setups where individual chairs just don't give you the capacity you need.
The cedar construction means the log-style profile, rounded ends, and warm tones you'd expect from real wood — without the upkeep real wood demands. No seasonal sealing, no annual refinishing. The simulated-cedar finish is built to stay outdoors through the full weather cycle and still look right come spring.
Bench seating changes how a space feels. A long bench along one side of a dining table reads differently than a row of chairs — it invites people to slide in and stay. It is substantial enough to anchor a space and simple enough to work in almost any outdoor context: porch, patio, fire pit circle, or anywhere you need real seating for a group.
A Note on Log Checking
Cedar products may develop minor surface checking — fine hairline cracks — as a normal part of the curing and weathering process. This is cosmetic, not structural, and is expected in natural-look wood products. Learn more:

FAQ
- Do I need to seal or finish cedar log furniture? Cedar is naturally rot and insect resistant — no finish is required. You can leave it untreated and it will weather gradually to a silver-grey. If you prefer to maintain the original color, apply a penetrating oil or outdoor sealant every few years.
- What is log checking and is it normal? Log checking is the appearance of small surface cracks in the wood as it adjusts to changes in temperature and humidity. It is a natural characteristic of real log furniture, not a defect. It does not affect structural integrity.
- Can I leave cedar log furniture outside year-round? Yes. Northern White Cedar is designed for outdoor exposure. You can leave it out through all four seasons without treatment. If you experience very harsh winters, covering or storing pieces can extend the finish life, but it is not required for the wood itself.
- Does the furniture come assembled? Cedar Log Contoured Comfort furniture ships partially assembled with all hardware and detailed instructions included. Most pieces can be completed in under an hour.
