A round table works where rectangles don't. It has no corners to catch knees on, it orients naturally toward whoever's sitting nearest, and it fills the center of a seating arrangement without creating a barrier between people. The B9 is sized to hold a full round of drinks and a snack tray without dominating a modest porch or deck. It's the piece that finishes the setup — chairs and a settee point toward it, everything else is in reach from it.
Construction follows the same Cedar Looks approach as the rest of the collection — a rounded log-style profile with a warm, consistent finish built to hold up outdoors without annual sealing or treatment. The surface won't leave splinters, and the finish stays in shape through full outdoor seasons without refinishing.
Why This Instead of…
The most common comparison is a rectangular or square outdoor coffee table. Those work fine in a structured setup — a sofa against a wall, chairs lined up on either side. But in a curved porch arrangement, around a fire pit, or in any seating layout that wants to breathe, a round table fits the geometry better. No one's reaching past a corner to set down a glass. The round shape also takes up less visual weight in a small space, even when the footprint is similar.
There's also the B409 (small rectangular side table) at a lower price point, but that's designed for one person — an accent piece beside a single armchair. The B9 is the table that serves the whole group: drinks, a candle, books, whatever accumulates over the course of an afternoon outside.
What It Works With
The B9 pairs naturally with the 4' Settee (B6KD) in a standard porch sitting area. Add an Arm Chair (B4KD) on each side and you have a complete setup — settee, two chairs, round table centered in front. It also works with the High Back Settee (B6BKD), the 6' Settee (B7KD), or as the center of a fire-pit seating circle using multiple rockers or chairs.
