Hand Peeled Cedar Log Bunk Bed
Built to Handle Real Use
The Hand Peeled Cedar Log Bunk Bed uses the same hand-peeled Northern White Cedar log construction as the Original Log Bed — posts and rails worked individually by hand, each showing the natural surface and texture of the wood. Available in five size configurations: Twin over Twin, Twin over Full, Twin over Queen, Full over Full, and Queen over Queen. Finish in Unfinished, Clear, Honey, or Vintage Whiskey.
The upper bunk includes a ladder and full-perimeter guardrails. The size range is wider than most bunk beds — the Twin over Queen and Queen over Queen configurations work as well for a guest cabin with two adults as for a kids' room that needs to stay relevant through high school. Solid hand-peeled cedar log construction means the frame handles real use without loosening at the joints over time.
Northern White Cedar is naturally insect and rot resistant. As with all solid cedar log furniture, minor surface checking may develop over time — small cracks or splits along the grain as the wood acclimates to indoor conditions. This is expected in solid log construction and doesn't affect structural integrity. Learn more: What is log checking? | Cracking the mystery of log checking | An academic look at checking
