The One That Fits Any Room

The Hand Peeled Cedar Log Rectangle Dining Table is the four-leg version of the collection — four hand-peeled Northern White Cedar posts supporting a solid 2-inch cedar plank top. Clean sight lines, a smaller footprint than the trestle, and the same hand-peeled log character throughout. Available from 5 feet to 10 feet in length, in Clear, Honey, or Vintage Whiskey finish.

The four-leg design sits naturally in a wider range of rooms than a trestle. It doesn't demand the same clearance, fits against a wall if needed, and reads more simply from any angle. The hand-peeled log legs bring texture and warmth without the table becoming the main event in the room. Mortise and tenon joinery at the structural connections — no fasteners doing the heavy work. Table top is solid 2-inch cedar, not a veneer.

As with all solid cedar log furniture, minor checking may develop in the log elements over time as the wood responds to indoor conditions. This is a natural characteristic of solid log construction, not a defect. Learn more: What is log checking? | Cracking the mystery of log checking | An academic look at checking

Timeless allure and superior craftsmanship

Our Hand Peeled Cedar Log Furniture collection brings the natural beauty of cedar into your home with an unmatched rustic charm.  Each piece in this collection is meticulously crafted to highlight the unique grain and texture of the cedar wood.

Many, or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty.
