Hand Peeled Cedar Log Trestle Dining Table
A Table That Earns Its Place at the Center
The Hand Peeled Cedar Log Trestle Dining Table is built for rooms — and gatherings — that demand a lot from a piece of furniture. The trestle base uses hand-peeled Northern White Cedar logs joined at each end with solid cross-members, leaving the sides of the table completely open for seating. Available from 5 feet to 10 feet in length, in Clear, Honey, or Vintage Whiskey finish.
Trestle construction gives this table a different feel than a four-leg design — no corner posts to work around, a more substantial visual weight at each end, and the kind of table presence that anchors a dining room or a cabin great hall. At 10 feet it seats 10 to 12 comfortably; at 5 feet it works well in a smaller space without looking like it was scaled down. The cedar plank top and hand-peeled log base are built from the same Northern White Cedar throughout.
As with all solid cedar log furniture, minor checking may develop in the log elements over time as the wood responds to indoor conditions. This is a natural characteristic of solid log construction, not a defect. Learn more: What is log checking? | Cracking the mystery of log checking | An academic look at checking
