Two seats face each other across a central folding table, creating a face-to-face swing designed for conversation. The table tucks flat underneath the seat when not in use, returning the swing to open seating for two. The full unit swings from standard porch ceiling hardware — chains and ceiling anchors required and sold separately.
The frame is solid Northern White Cedar joined with traditional mortise and tenon construction. Seat and back slats are thermally modified wood — treated with heat, no chemicals — giving them superior resistance to moisture, warping, and decay. Neither the cedar frame nor the thermally modified slats require sealing or annual treatment. ThermaFusion is Lakeland Mills’ hybrid outdoor furniture line, combining solid Northern White Cedar log frames with thermally modified wood slats. The cedar log frames use the same mortise and tenon joinery Lakeland Mills has built with since 1923 — real logs, real construction, made in Edmore, Michigan. The thermally modified slats undergo a chemical-free heat treatment that makes them significantly more resistant to moisture, warping, and decay than untreated wood. Both materials are designed for permanent outdoor installation without annual maintenance.
The cedar log frame components may develop small surface cracks as the wood acclimates to changes in temperature and humidity. This is a normal characteristic of solid cedar construction — not a defect — and does not affect structural integrity. The thermally modified slats will not develop this type of surface checking. ThermaFusion products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty covers structural failures and defects present at time of manufacture. It does not cover normal weathering, surface checking of cedar components, or damage from misuse, modification, or exposure to conditions beyond normal outdoor use.
